The 'Summer' is a knee length skirt in a mid blue chambray. Gathered for gentle volume and our signature shaped double layered waistband gives a smoothing, flattering and secure fit.

Sizing

Both Models are an AU size 6 and wear a size XS / AU 6
Summer wears it lowered on the second row of buttons
Laura wears it at the natural waist position with the first row of buttons.

Model Wears a size XS / AU 6 and has a 66cm Waist.

Individual product measurements have been taken from the garment pattern, it is designed to be slightly larger than your waist. The waist measurement is taken from the tightest row of buttons.

Size Up: If you would like the style to sit lower down. Choose the waist measurement that would match where you want the skirt to sit.

Size Down: If you would like the style to sit higher rise or snuggly.

What does 'Made to Order' Mean?

Made-to-Order means we create your piece after you place an order. We cut, sew package and post all orders in our studio.

Due to our regular order volume, we ask you allow a minimum of 10 business days (2 weeks) for your order to be shipped, If you have ordered 3 or more items, please allow 15 days.

Some orders are posted sooner depending on production schedules. In rare occasions, this time frame may be extended
What if it Doesn't Fit?

Size exchanges can be requested via email or our contact page within 14 days of receiving your order.

We can only offer change of mind returns/refunds on Ready-to-Ship styles, not Made-to-Order styles. all styles can be size exchanged unless listed as final sale or 'last one' xx

Due to the US administration's tariff policies, we do not accept returns on US Orders (Excluding faulty items). Please consider this before purchasing and reach out to us for any questions info@familiarcharacters.com.au

Shipping

Proceed to checkout to see your shipping rate in your local currency. 

Orders are shipped with tracking via Australia Post and their network of international delivery partners after the 10-15 Day Made to Order Production Period. 

Australian Standard Shipping: Flat rate Shipping, 3-7 Days business days across Australia

United Kingdom: Orders may be subject to 20% VAT on delivery. Customs duties generally only apply to orders over £135. Orders are sent duties and taxes unpaid

New Zealand: Orders are tax free under $1000 NZD in value. NZ orders are sent with the landing fee unpaid (normally less than $5AUD) 

United States: Product Price is inclusive of Duties and the 12.5% Tariff on Australian Made Goods. Duties and Tariffs are prepaid.
